Tax on merchandise
For items shipped to:
- New York 4% on clothing (tees, caps), 8% on non-clothing items
- California 8.25%
- Indiana 6%
- Maine 5%
No sales tax for items shipped elsewhere in the US.
Merchandise shipping
Cornell Plantations ships via U.S. domestic ground. In-stock items usually ship within five business days. Cornell Plantations will not guarantee delivery on or before a specific date.
Standard domestic shipping and handling rates for merchandise sent to each individual address are as follows:

From $20.01 to $40 $6.95
From $40.01 to $60 $8.95
From $60.01 to $90 $11.95
From $90.01 to $120 $14.95
From $120.01 to $200 $17.95
- For orders exceeding $200, shipping charges will equal 10% of the merchandise total. Cornell Plantations will not accept online orders in excess of $500. To place large orders, please contact us at (607) 255-2400.
- You won't be charged for back-ordered items until they ship. Total shipping charges to each individual address will not exceed the standard shipping fee.
- If a product is not available, you will be notified by e-mail or telephone so that you have the opportunity to adapt your order.
- Other items seen in the store may be ordered by phone. Certain large or bulky items may require an additional charge to supplement shipping fees.
