Attention Dog Owners!
Your off-leash dog is not welcome in this natural area. All dogs must be on a hand-held leash at all times.
The Town of Ithaca law states that it is a violation if a dog “is not restrained by an adequate collar and leash when not on the property of the owner.”
This protects:
- Sensitive plants, habitat, and wildlife
- Visitors who may be frightened or injured by off-leash dogs.
Dog owners are required to clean up after their dog and properly display of the waste off-site.
