“I have been a supporter of the Cornell Botanic Gardens, formerly, Cornell Plantations, for more than 20 years.  Why does it deserve my support?   Because it provides functions which I find important and worth supporting:  education, conservation, broad plant collections, beautiful places of respite to walk and explore nature; and because I like the staff and team managing and operating this wonderful institution.”

About

For the past 30 years, my career has been as a lawyer or legal advisor to a variety of companies in the life sciences.   I have actively advised companies working in the agriculture and life sciences business space for almost all of that time.   I am currently an Executive in Residence to the McGovern Family Center for Ventures in the Life Sciences since 2017, working both in Ithaca at Weill Hall and in New York City at the Weill Cornell Medical Center.  I have had an interest in the Cornell Botanic Gardens since my years as an undergraduate and law student at Cornell during the 1970s.
