Monkey Run

This property, with more than 500 acres of natural area, is part of a long biological corridor extending along Fall Creek from the northeastern edge of Tompkins County to Cayuga Lake. Cornell Botanic Gardens manages the forests along Fall Creek, while other Cornell departments and organizations manage adjacent open land and conifer plantation forest. This area is heavily used for recreation (hiking, skiing, and canoeing) and is especially important for birding.
