"I really like the Herb Garden. I think when people get to read a plant’s story, they do form a relationship with that plant—as opposed to simply remembering a Latin name."

The Botanical Garden is the broad name for the area at the heart of Cornell Plantations. Visitors with only a short time to see Plantations will want to focus on this 25-acre site, which features 12 theme, or specialty gardens. These include herbs, flowers, vegetables, rock garden plants, rhododendrons, perennials, ornamental grasses, groundcovers, vines, container gardens, plants with winter interest…even weeds!
