How to Apply

Individuals interested in the M.P.S. in Public Garden Leadership must apply through Cornell University's Graduate School. The required application consists of:

the online "application for admission" form,
a statement of purpose (in the first sentence of your statement, indicate that you are applying for the Cornell Plantations Graduate Fellowship in Public Garden Leadership) and
three letters of recommendation.
GRE scores are required, although these scores alone do not determine admissibility

These materials should be filed online on or before the 5th of January for Fall admission.

On the application form:
Under "Proposed field of study," enter Horticulture.
Under "Major subject or area of concentration," enter Human-plant interactions.

We also encourage applicants to submit a current resume. The resume and any other supporting materials the applicant may wish to submit are sent in separately from the Graduate Schools’ online application. These supporting materials should be sent to:
