Accessibility

Cornell Plantations is the University’s gardens, arboretum and natural areas. Each of our areas has varying surfaces, slopes and levels of access, described below.

Botanical Garden

Our 25-acre botanical garden includes 10 specialty gardens surrounding the Nevin Welcome Center. A wheelchair is available by request at the Garden Gift Shop in the Nevin Welcome Center, a fully accessible facility.

F. R. Newman Arboretum

The majority of our native and cultivated tree collections are found in this beautiful 150-acre area.

Cornell Plantations manages natural areas both on and off Cornell’s campus, with various levels of accessibility.
