Location

Head east out of town on Route 79.  Go through Slaterville Springs and continue about 2.5 miles to Caroline.  In Caroline, look for Level Green Road. Continue on 79, the site is on the right about 0.85 miles from the intersection with Level Green Road.  You can park on the roadside.  If you cross the bridge over Owego Creek, you have gone too far. 

The Finger Lakes Trail provides access to the preserve.  The trail first goes into the site on the floodplain, then goes across the lower slope and finally leaves the site and head east.
