Location

Mount Pleasant is about 5 miles east of Cornell. Take Caldwell Road to Route 366 east. Turn left. In 1.4 miles, turn right on Mt. Pleasant Road and proceed up the steep hill. In 1.8 miles is the intersection with Baker Hill Road.

To reach Frost Ravine, continue on Mt. Pleasant Road for 0.35 mile. Park on the roadside. The access is on the left side. It is a 25-foot-wide, 678-foot-long strip tucked in a hedgerow of aspen and is marked with Cornell Botanic Gardens Natural Area signs. Follow the flagged pedestrian trail to Frost Ravine.

To reach Pine Woods, continue on Mt. Pleasant Road for 0.6 mile. Park on the roadside. The old-growth forest, on the left (north) side of the road, can be reached directly from Mt. Pleasant Road. The pipelines provide good pedestrian access through Mount Pleasant.
