Teen Education

We offer two programs that give teens the opportunity to explore the natural world while developing leadership and team-building skills.

Environmental Exploration Days

Environmental Exploration Days is a weeklong program for youth ages 12-14 to explore the unique natural beauty of Tompkins County and learn how they can take part in its protection.

This program is in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the Floating Classroom, and the City of Ithaca.

Plantations Environmental Education Program for Sustainability (PEEPS)

PEEPS is an outdoor, hands-on apprenticeship for youth ages 14-18 focused on environmental appreciation and education where students will learn how to become environmental ambassadors.
