Chinese herbs, and the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine, are changing modern Western concepts of the roles of plants in human health.  New York medicinal plant grower Jean Giblette will describe how a small network of conservators have studied Asian species growing in America for the past two decades.  Now, affiliated growers are beginning to produce and direct-market some of the herbs to American practitioners of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, an initiative that promises to expand our array of healthy food choices.
