Membership

Plantations’ members are important partners in our efforts to increase knowledge of and appreciation for the interdependence of people, plants, and the natural world.  Because only 16% of our annual budget is provided by Cornell, support from members and donors impacts almost every aspect of our operations. Your annual membership gift provides vital funding that enables us to purchase new plants for our living collections, create new educational programs for children and adults, and preserve irreplaceable natural areas. To enroll by mail or fax, download this membership form

Reciprocal Garden Benefits

Do you enjoy visiting other public gardens when you travel?  Show your Plantations membership card to gain special admission and other benefits at more than 200 beautiful destinations across North America!

Plantations membership provides shared benefits through the American Horticultural Society (AHS) at other botanical gardens, arboreta, and conservatories in 44 states, Canada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This typically includes free or reduced admission to grounds and events, plus discounts in garden and book shops.

When you join Plantations, you’ll receive a membership card and the AHS Reciprocal Gardens Brochure, which lists all participating living museums. The list is also updated regularly on the AHS online directory.
