Enter the common or scientific name of the plant you are seeking.
Click on the map to see the results OR
Review the search results table for your plant and click on VIEW to find its location on the map.

Once you're in the map view you can

Hover your mouse over the plant symbol to see the name of the plant.
Click on the plant symbol for a short description of the plant.

There are over 50,000 plants in the Botanical Garden and F.R. Newman Arboretum, a majority of which have been catalogued and mapped. We invite you to use FIND A PLANT to search for a plant in our catalogued collections and find its location at Plantations on the map.

You can also search for a living tribute or a memorial plaque or bench by entering the honored person's name.

Note:
Plants in the Mundy Wildflower Garden, other Cornell Plantations Natural Areas, as well as decorative annual plants added to our gardens each year are not mapped.
