HOW TO USE FIND A PLANT
- Enter the common or scientific name of the plant you are seeking.
- Click on the map to see the results OR
- Review the search results table for your plant and click on VIEW to find its location on the map.
Once you're in the map view you can
- Hover your mouse over the plant symbol to see the name of the plant.
- Click on the plant symbol for a short description of the plant.
Find a Plant or Memorial
There are over 50,000 plants in the Botanical Garden and F.R. Newman Arboretum, a majority of which have been catalogued and mapped. We invite you to use FIND A PLANT to search for a plant in our catalogued collections and find its location at Plantations on the map.
You can also search for a living tribute or a memorial plaque or bench by entering the honored person's name.
Note:
Plants in the Mundy Wildflower Garden, other Cornell Plantations Natural Areas, as well as decorative annual plants added to our gardens each year are not mapped.
