OPENING RECEPTION: Student Art Exhibit
Join us to celebrate the opening of the art exhibit, "Exploring Fall Creek and Cascadilla Glen Trails and Gorges."
Cornell students in Greg Page's "Introduction to Print Media" class created photographs, photo-positive lithographic plates, and combinations of a traditional lithographic stone and woodcut relief prints as a way of comparing today's gorges to what they looked like 100 years ago. The students referenced photographs in a 1915 plan for developing Fall Creek and Cascadilla Gorges which inspired them to create unique works of art on display in the lobby of the Nevin Welcome Center during November and December.
Date/time: Friday, November 9, 6 - 9 p.m.
Location: Nevin Welcome Center lobby
This event is free and open to the public. No pre-registration necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
